Goals, Targets & What Do You Want?
I’m going to get right to the point on this one!
I’m going to have you consider that the number one reason
we don’t GET what we want is that we don’t KNOW what we want.
When setting goals, most of the time, our goals are so vague
and broad that we have no idea where or what to start on!
Once you decide what you want and you’ve come up with a goal,
the next step is to break it down into targets.
If -for example- you want to lose 30 pounds in 90 days:
You would have your 90 day target: - 30 pounds (105,000 calories*)
You would have your 60 day target: -20 pounds (70,000 calories*)
You would have your 30 day target: -10 pounds (35,000 calories*)
You would have your 7 day target: - 2.5 pounds (8,750 calories*)
And, you would have your daily target: - .35 pounds (1,225 calories*)
*1 pound = 3,500 calories
Eat 613 less calories from food
And burn 613 calories in exercise.
NOW you know EXACTLY what you want
and EXACTLY what your targets are!
No more guessing and feeling overwhelmed.
Here are the the steps one more time:
#1 Know what you want
#2 Set a goal with a deadline
#3 break that goal down into quantifiable targets
Did i hit my target? Yes or No.
If the answer is “no”, well then get your ass to work;)
